Garlic Butter Roasted Crab
San Francisco style, roasted in the sauce

Ingredients
- 1 cooked Dungeness, cleaned and cracked
- 6 tbsp butter + 1/4 cup olive oil
- 8 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp chili flakes, parsley
- Lemon, sourdough
Method
- Oven 450°F. Melt butter with oil, garlic and chili.
- Toss cracked crab sections in the mixture in a roasting pan.
- Roast 10–12 minutes, tossing once, until sizzling and fragrant.
- Parsley and lemon over the pan.
- Serve with sourdough and a roll of paper towels.
Tip. The garlic butter pooling in the shells is the best bite in the Pacific Northwest.
