Delete your DigTide account

This page is for the app DigTide: Razor Clam Dig Alerts. An account is optional in DigTide, and you can delete yours at any time.

Delete it in the app

  1. Open DigTide and go to Settings.
  2. Under Account, tap Delete account.
  3. Confirm. If you signed in a while ago, you'll be asked to confirm it's you with Google or Apple first.

Deletion happens immediately.

Request deletion without the app

If you no longer have the app installed, email support@digtide.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We delete the account within 30 days and reply to confirm.

What is deleted

  • Your account record: the email address and user ID used to sign in.
  • The push-notification registration for your device.
  • The sign-in link between your account and your subscription status on that device.

What is kept

  • Purchase and transaction records held by Google Play or the App Store, and by our subscription provider RevenueCat, where they are stored against an internal ID rather than your email. They are kept for tax, refund and fraud-prevention obligations for as long as the law requires. Ask in your email if you also want the RevenueCat record erased.
  • Data that only ever lived on your device, such as watched beaches, your dig log and settings. It stays until you uninstall the app or clear its data.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription, because billing belongs to your store account. Cancel it in Google Play → Payments and subscriptions, or App Store → Subscriptions.
